JAMMU, October 18: Annual inter-school athletics meet of Jammu district, organised by Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) started today at University of Jammu tracks, here.
In first phase of the competitions various field and track events in boys section got underway.

Under-19: Long Jump: Sumit Singh, SRML, Ist; Dalip Gandotra, HSS Little Flower, 2nd and Mukesh Kumar, HSS Nardiwala, third. Shot Put: Mohd Arif, SRML, Ist; Manjoor Ali, Hari Singh HSS, 2nd and Gautam Verma, HSS Bishnah, third. 5000 mts: Banti Sharma, HSS Narediwala, Ist; Mangat Ram, HSS Akhnoor, 2nd and Vikramjeet Sharma, HSS R S Pura, third. 800 mts: Gulshan Singh, HSS Pargwal, Ist; Mohd Sadiq, HSS Gho Manasan, 2nd and Vipan Sharma, HSS Naradiwala, third.
