Terrorist escapes police custody | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Oct 18: A Babbar Khalsa terrorist today escaped from police custody in Punjab. The 26-year-old terrorist Karamjit Singh was arrested by Punjab police, a couple of days ago for killing a Dera head in the city in June this year. An assault rifle and some quantity of RDX was recovered on his arrest. Reports suggested that on the pretext of going to the washroom, Karamjit escaped through the roof. After giving the police a slip, the security forces have launched a massive manhunt of the dreaded terrorist, who was an accomplice of terrorist Jagtar Singh Hawara. Reports also said that the police have sealed the borders of Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh in their hunt of Karamjit.
