KP body lashes out at state, centre | | | Early Times Report New Delhi, Oct 18: LASHING out at the State and Centre for apathy towards Kashmir Pandits, Kundan Kashmiri, National President, KPC today stated that these governments have ignored and isolated KP community particularly youths who are languishing in camps and non-camps at Jammu region , Delhi and other parts of the country. Addressing a gathering of KPC Youth activists at Dwarika, New Delhi, today Kundan Kashmiri stated that the community have a solid reason and logic to come on the streets as they have lost their homes ,community brethren , relatives and friends who were brutally massacred in various incidents in the Valley which included Wandhama, Nadimarg, Sangrampura , Khurhama ,Telwani, Sirigufwara and other places. He said that the community lost their right to franchisee because of complicated voting system , tampering and deleting of names from voter lists in the valley. Kashmiri stated that if Government will continue to use its haphazard and unsystematic methods in dealing with the isolated KP community particularly its youths, they will be provoked to fight for their rights and demands connected to their survival and existence .
Meanwhile, KPC chief demanded that appointment of experienced and knowledgeable person as an interlocutor exclusively for Internally displaced Kashmiri Pandit community, which is the first victim of terrorism in the State and principle party of Kashmir issue, to meet its youths and their leaders in camps and non-camps to know their pain , problems ,demands ,sufferings and Injustice faced by them from 1947 and in particular from 1989-90 in exile . He vehemently criticized over the shameful political motivated statement of Chief Minister,Omar Abdullah over Kashmir accession and demanded that the said statement needs to be neutralized either by taking the statement back by Omar Abdullah or stern action to be taken by the Centre leaders running the polity of the Country , after avoiding the vote bank policy or coalition interests.
