| Press club pays tributes to veteran journalist Sati Sahni | | | Early Time Report
Jammu, Oct 18: In a condolence meeting held here today in the club premises, the members of the managing committee of the press club of Jammu expressed their profound shock and grief over the sad demise of a veteran journalist, Sh. Sat Paul Sahni, popularly known as Sati Sahni, who passed away due to prolonged illness in New Delhi.
While speaking on the occasion the president and the secretary general, of the press club, recalled the services of Shri Sahni, as pioneer photo journalist in the field of journalism in Jammu and Kashmir state. Paying the tributes to the departed soul, a two minutes silence was observed by the members. They also prayed almighty to bestow eternal peace on the noble soul.
Those who attended the condolence meeting included, the president, press club of Jammu, Manu Shrivatsa, vice president, Raju Kerni, secretary general, Sohail Kazmi, treasurer, Zorawar Singh and all executive members of the committee.
