| Crackers worth Rs 3 lakh seized, two held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 18: Unearthing illegal dumping of crackers, Police today seized fireworks worth Rs 3 lakh from a residential area in Govindpura near Chatha and arrested two persons in this connection.
On specific information that some persons have stored crackers in a residence and selling them in open, Satwari police led by SHO Bishnesh raided the premises of Kuldeep Kumar and Pawan Kumar, both sons of Chuni Lal at Govindpura, Chattha and seized crackers worth Rs 3 lakh, sources said
The crackers were dumped in residential area in violation to the District Development Commissioner’s directions.
