| Dist-level athletic meet underway | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA, Oct 19: Youth Services and Sports, District Kathua is conducting district level athletic meet for boys and girls under the age group of 14 years, 17 years and 19 years in the premises of District sports stadium, Kathua.
On the second day today, 150 students drawn from 30 institutions under the age group of 17 years participated in the athletic meet.
Final result of under 17 years’ girls 100mtr race: Nisha Devi School HS Dinga Amb got 1st position, Sony Saini School GHS Marheen got 2nd position and Sapana Devi School, HSS Hatli got 3rd position.
200 mtr Race: Neelam Sharma, School GHSS, Kathua got 1st position, Seema Devi School HS Dinga Amb got 2nd position and Pooja Devi School HS Paranjli got 3rd position.
400 Mtr. Race: Seema Rani School HS Dinga Amb got 1st Position, Anita Rani School HSS Hatli got 2nd Position and Bandana School HS Said got 3rd position.
800 Mtr. Race : Neelam Rani School HSS Hatli got 1st position, Sonia School HS Said got 2nd position and Jyoti School HS Dewal got 3rd position. 1500 Mtr. Race Anju Bala School HSS Hatli got 1st position, Reeta Devi School HS Galak got 2nd position and Lovely Choudhary School HS Tridwan got 3rd position. Long Jump Lakshmi Jasrotia School HS Dinga Amb got 1st Position, Champa Devi School HS Galak got 2nd position and Revina Rani School HS Gaiterwan got 3rd position.
