| Multilingual mushaira organised | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA, Oct 19: District Information Centre, Kathua organised a multilingual mushaira at Amrit Elementary Teacher Training Institute, Hatli more, Kathua.
District Treasury officer, Kathua. Naresh Sharma was the chief guest. Chairman Amrit ETT institute Daljeet Singh and Principal Kundan Singh was also present.
Many poets recited their poems and ghazals in different languages viz Punjabi, Hindi, Dogri and Urdu which was lauded by the audience. In mushaira, the poets also recited heart touching poems on patriotism.
Prominent among those who recited their poems include Vijay Sharma, Usha Monga, and. S.D Singh, Sham lal Khajuria, Ajay Sharma, Hardev Singh, Jatinder Khajuria and A.K Malohtra.
Speaking on the occasion, District Treasury Officer, Kathua Naresh Sharma hailed the efforts of the information department for organising mushiara. Later, chairman Daljit Singh of the Amrit ETT institute presented vote of thanks and appreciated the efforts of information department.
