JAMMU, October 19: Anil Singh of High School Devipur excelled with triple gold in under-17 age group on the second day of the ongoing inter-school athletics meet of Jammu district, organised by Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) at University of Jammu tracks, here today.
Anil bagged all three top positions in field events of Shot Put, Discuss Throw and Javelin Throw.
Another young and upcoming athlete, Sunil Sharma of Higher Secondary School Domana clinched the coveted sprint gold in under-19 age group. Second place in this 100 meters event went to Dalip Gandotra of Little Flower School while Rohit Mandle of Government Higher Secondary School Muthi remained third.

Discuss Throw: Ashwani Kumar, HS Deoli, Ist; Sahil Kumar, HS SAidgarh, 2nd and Rahul Kumar, MS Kotli Mian Fateh, third.
