Man sent jail for abandoning daughters | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, October-19 (JNF):- In a much publicized case of three sisters abandoned at Railway Station Jammu whose father was arrested by the police yesterday and produced today in the Court Special Mobile Magistrate Electricity Jammu. Police submitted an application for judicial remand of Ram Kumar s/o Abhilakh r/o Malkanpur Sarina Naib-District Allahbad UP at present Shastri nagar Cremation Ground who is father of three daughters who are below four years. Special Mobile Magistrate Electricity, Jammu, R.N. Wattal after hearing senior prosecuting officer Ashish Rathore and also perusal of the application for remand and CD file observed that the offence u/s 317 RPC is bailable and in bailable offences, the accused deserves concession of bail as a matter of right. The application for remand is dismissed and accused is admitted to bail if he furnishes bail bond to the tune of Rs 5000/- and personal bond of like amount. The accused, who was present in Court submitted that no surety was available, upon this Court directed that accused be kept in judicial lock-up District Jail, Amphalla, Jammu for a period of two days or till submitting the requisite surety as directed.
