| Sabre Brigade conducts trekking expedition | | |
EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Oct 19: An armoured regiment under the aegis of the Sabre Brigade conducted a trekking expedition from October 9-17 from Dharamsala to Chamba.
One officer, three JCOs and ten other ranks of the Regiment took part in the trek which included a visit to the temple of Dalai Lama at Mcleodganj, Kakeri Lake and Darkund in Chamba.
The trekking expedition provided an excellent opportunity for the troops to enjoy and experience the rich and varied culture of the region and also inculcated a spirit of adventure. Commander, Sabre Brigade flagged in the expedition at Ratnuchak on 17 Oct.
