| Prof Kaul to deliver lecture at JU | | |

JAMMU, Oct 19: The Department of Sociology, University of Jammu is organising a lecture by Prof. Ashok Kumar Kaul, Department of Sociology, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi tomorrow.
He would be speaking on "Pathology of Nationhood: A Case of Kashmir" in the Computer Sciences Seminar Hall.
Prof. R.D.Sharma, Dean Academic Affairs is going to preside over the function.
Prof. Kaul has 27 years of lecturing and research experience at a number of universities in India and internationally. He has published two books and produced more than 50 papers. Prof. Kaul has been Post Doctoral fellow at the University of Klagenfurt, Austria (1991-92), University of Alberta, Edmonton (1993-94), and has been Visiting Faculty at the Department of Sociology, University of Delhi (2002), Visiting Faculty at CSS, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi (2005) and also the University of Jammu.
His recent book "Kashmir: Fractured Nativity (closed options, open possibilities) August 2009, is published by VDM (Germany), The book was reviewed in European perspectives, October 2009.
