JAMMU, OCTOBER 19: A team of CA&PD Department comprising Assistant Director (Enforcement), Assistant Director (Circle-I), Assistant Director (EC) and Area Inspectors and headed by Deputy Director (S/EC), Ashok Kumar Pandita today conducted vigorous market checking, especially of fruit and vegetable sellers, halwaiis, dhabhas, fast food vendors, restaurants at Bohri, Talab Tillo, Anand Nagar, Santra Morh, Gandhi Nagar and adjoining areas to keep a check over rates and quality of eatables.
During the inspection, the team challaned 16 defaulters under violation of price display order /Essential Commodities Act 1955 & LPG Control Order 2000 and recovered a fine of Rs.15,900 as fine from them.
