| Semis line-up drawn in inter-district kho-kho | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, October 19: Semi-finals position has been cleared in the ongoing inter-district divisional level kho-kho competitions in under-19 age group under the banner of Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) at Green Field grounds, here today.
While in boys section, Jammu, Udhampur, Doda and Kishtwar districts have qualified for the semi-finals, in girls category, Jammu failed to make it to the last four stages.
In the quarterfinals played today, Jammu girls lost to district Samba 5-3. However, Jammu boys’ took the revenge and registered an outright victory over district Samba beating latter by one turn and two points.
The Detailed Results:
Kho-Kho boys (quarterfinals): Kishtwar bt Rajouri by one turn and two points; Jammu bt Samba by one turn and two points; Udhampur bt Kathua by 12 points; Doda bt Poonch by five points.
Kho-Kho girls (quarterfinals): Kathua bt Kishtwar by one (4-3) point; Rajouri bt Poonch by 11 points; Samba bt Jammu by two (5-3) points; Udhampur bt Doda by five points.
