JAMMU, Oct 19: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee has condoled death of a veteran journalist Satpal Sahni who passed away at New Delhi after prolonged illness, yesterday.
President Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) and former Union Minister Prof. Saifuddin Soz (MP) expressed grief over the sad demise of Satpal Sahni. In a condolence message, Soz said that contribution of Sahni in the field of journalism has been of high order. Prof. Soz expressed solidarity with the bereaved family and prayed for the peace to the departed soul in the heaven.
Several other leaders of PCC have also condoled demise of Satpal Sahni and conveyed their heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family and prayed for peace to departed soul. Prominent those who condoled the death included Dharm Pal Sharma, Thakur Hari Singh, Yash Pal Khajuria, Gurmukh Singh, Prem Sagar Aziz, Mula Ram, Parduman Singh, Ravinder Sharma, Amolak Singh, Vinod Sharma, Mehrajuddin Zargar, Shiv Dev Singh, S.R.Sudhir, K.L.Gupta, Com. Jaswant Singh, Bharat Gandhi, Ravi Salathia, B.B.Gupta, Mansa Ram, Hussian Bakush, Mian Nazir Ahmed, V.K. Sethi, B.L. Choudhary, Sukh Dev Singh and others.
