| GMC hospital employee beaten by attendant | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 19: A Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) employee was beaten by an unidentified attendant in the hospital premises today.
After the incident the attendant escaped from the spot along with the patient leaving the employee in an unconscious condition.
The victim Ghulam Mohd Naik son of Ghulam Nabi resident of Sarwal in his police complaint alleged that being pharmacist he was inspecting medicines in ward number 7 when an attendant entered into a verbal duel with him.
The verbal spat between both of us turned to manhandling as the attendant attacked him with fists and blows, Naik alleged.
Later the assaulter escaped from the spot, he added
Police have registered a case and is trying to establish the identity of the accused taking help of CCTV footage. |
