| Sharnarthi action committee support bandh call | | | JAMMU | OCT 30
A meeting of the Sharnarthi Action Committee (SAC) Non Camp was held under the chairmanship of Prof. Barkat Sigh Azad president S.A.C Poonch here other day.
On the meeting it was resolved that sharnarthi action committee, Poonch supports the band call given by united Refugee Front Jammu under the presidentship of Rajiv Chuni.
According to press release committee expressed full confidence and solidarity with Rajiv Chuni and his efforts towards the problems of the refugees. The committee also expressed great concern that he problems faced by the refugees of PoK are enmormous and the successive governments at centre as well as in state have always ignored ethnic entity in every field. He said, six decades have passed but the refugees which comprise of a sizeable population about 12 laks have been denied their problems have been compounded. The so called democratic and welfare state govt has harrased this community by issuing and enacting draconian and black laws like SRO 215 and Re-settlement Act.
The committee had thereof decides to participate in the struggle forged to achieve their goal and joins hands with president, refugee joint front and appeal all the refugees and their sympathizers to participate and make bandh a success.
