| ‘Congress hand in glove with PDP in advocating self-rule: Nirmal | | BJP demands dismissal of Congress led coalition Govt | | .
JAMMU | OCT 30 The state BJP has demanded dismissal of the Congress led coalition government in the state, asserting that its continuation even for a day would be disastrous for the country in general and the people of the state in particular. The BJP is of the considered view that the Congress is hand in glove with the PDP which has demanded a system of government as it existed in Kashmir more than 400 years under Yusuf Shah Chak a system of government which was barbarous, autocratic, theoratic and anti people. The BJP’s stand got vindicated yesterday when the state chief minister Ghulam Nabi Azad said that he is not opposed to the PDP’s demand. The party president Dr. Nirmal Singh has asked the Congress Chief Minister to explain if in the state of Jammu and Kashmir does not exist self-rule and that he should also explain as to whom he is representing and who returned him to the state assembly. By endorsing the PDP’s demand, the state chief minister has undoubtedly raised a finger against the Idian state and created a situation which is quite conducive for those who have been targeting India demanding the state’s separation from India. The BJP believes that whatever Ghulam Nabi Azad said, has the backing of the Congress led-UPA government at he centre and that this is quite evident from the fact that none other then the Prime Minister has on several occasions declared that his government is prepared to consider the PDP’s demand of self-rule of the National Conference’s demand for semi-independence. The BJP is also of the considered view that it is the Prime Minister and the UPA chairperson who have authorized the PDP patrojn Mufti Mohd. Sayeed to go to the United Nations general assembly and rake up the Pakistani-sponsored self- rule solution there. The BJP also takes this opportunity to reprimand the National Conference which has been demanding withdrawal of all the central laws from the state and the Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party, which has been demanding the 1047 position. The BJP appealed to the to take note of what the PDP, the Congress, the Panthers Party and the National Conference have been doing to unsettle things and drive the state away from India. It warns that their indifferent attitude to the anti-India mechanization and the politics of self-rule, autonomy and joint management being indulged in by these parties would only seal their future forever. The BJP also announces that it would educate the people about the dangerous ramifications of what these parties are doing.
