JAMMU, Oct 20: All Jammu and Kashmir unemployed ITI electricians association today hailed Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for creating 43, 000 posts on need basis at Rs. 110 per day.
Addressing a press conference here today, President of the association Rakesh Sharma said that government of Jammu and Kashmir will consider all unemployed ITI electricians for their absorption in various departments for which they have been struggling for past so many years. Sharma further said that earlier in 2006, a package was announced by government but all unemployed ITI electricians were ignored. He added that the present government has shown sincerity.
Sharma has appealed the government to implement the said package in letter and spirit at an earliest so that those who have gone over-age get chance of recruitments. Prominent among other who were present in the conference include Vimal Dev Sharma, Sunil Bali, Sartaj Singh, Mukesh Raina and other senior leaders.
