KC Public makes a clean sweep in Inter-School Swimming meet | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Oct 20: THE students of K.C. Public School made a clean sweep in most of the events in various age groups in the Inter-School Swimming Competition organised by KC International School at their swimming pool complex. Lakshmi Suri in Under 14 age group bagged two gold medals in both 25m and 50m freestyle, Sheena Ganju equalled her in Under 19 age category in the same events, Aditi Kotwal won Silver in both these events in the Under 14 age group whereas Arshiya Kalra matched her achievement in the Under 19 category. Garima Sharma won the gold in 25m event for Under 12 age group. Among boys, Aditya Gupta wrapped up with 2 golds in both 25m and 50m Freestyle in the Under 12 category. Neerav Gupta finished just behind him to bag a Silver in 25m freestyle. Kinshuk Safaya lifted gold each in 50m and 400m Freestyle for boys under 14 and Adhar Koul followed him with a Silver in 50m. Rudraksh Gupta grabbed a Gold each in 50m and 100m in the Under 19 category and Harkirat Singh finished just behind him for a Silver in 50m. Shubham and Adhar Koul won a gold in 50m Breast and Back Strokes respectively in Under 14 category. Shubham also added a Silver to his name in 400m FS. Kashaf Khan and Aryan among boys had to contend with the third position in 25m and 50m FS respectively in their age groups. The KC teams won the gold in relays in all the categories, namely, 200m (Under 1/9), 200m (Under 14) and 100m (Under 12). They also lifted the Champions Trophy for the year.
