JAMMU, Oct 20: Vishal Dogra of DBN and Koushal George of BSF School clinched sprint gold in under-17 and under-17 age groups respectively in the ongoing inter-school athletics meet of Jammu district under the banner of Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) at University of Jammu (JU) tracks, here today.
In under-14 category, second place went to Rafiq Ahmed of KBP School while Shammi Kumar of HSS Kotli Tanda remained third. Similarly, in under-17 age group, Mohit Singh of HSS Pargwal bagged 2nd place and Yousaf Mohd of HS Badyal Brahmana finished third.
Earlier, the MHAC Nagbani School claimed 4x100 meters relay gold in both under-19 and under-17 categories.

Under-14 yr: 100 mts: Koushal George, BSF School, Ist; Rafiq Ahmed, KBP School, 2nd and Shammi Kumar, HSS Kotli Tanda, third. 200 mts: Rafiq Ahmed, KBP School, Ist; Sharad Partap Singh Chib, Xavier St Convent, 2nd and Prabhjot Singh, Army School Kaluchak, third.
Under-17 yr: 100 mts: Vishal Dogra, DBN, Ist; Mohit Singh, HSS Pargwal, 2nd and Yousaf Mohd, HS Badyal Brahmana, third. 200 mts: Raju Brad, HSS Nowabad, Ist; Rajiv Kumar, HS Chak Malal, 2nd and Arvind Lal, BSF School Paloura, third. 4x100 mts Relay: MHAC Nagbani (Rakesh Singh, Rohit Sharma, Yashpal Tinku, Stanzin), Ist; HS Devipur (Gourav Sharma, Vijay Kumar, Chanderveer, Anil Singh), 2nd and KBP School (Mohd Ameen, Ishfaq Ahmed, Mohd Adrees, Mohd Akram), third.
Under-19 yr: 200 mts: Vasu Mahajan, HSS Channi Himmat, Ist; Vishal Singh, HSS Domana, 2nd ; Sanjay Kumar of HSS Hari Singh and Munir Ahmed of KB Public, joint third. 4x100 mts Relay: MHAC Nagbani (Vishal Singh, Vikas Singh, Jasbir Singh, Devinder Suri), Ist; HSS Domana (Sunil Sharma, Vishal Singh, Dilawar Singh, Anil Singh), 2nd and BSF School (Atul Kumar, Shubam, Didar Singh, Rakesh Roshan), third.
