| Doctors beat up attendant in GMCH | | | JAMMU: A patient's attendant was beaten up by two doctors at the GMC hospital here today.
The incident took place in the office of casualty medical officer (CMO) in the hospital's emergency wing when the attendant was complaining against doctors.
Speaking to media persons, Ajit Sharma -- a lecturer in a private B.Ed. college -- said that he came to the hospital with his student Gourav who was wounded in a road accident at Chinore.
He said when Dr Majid of ENT and Dr Rashpal of surgery did not attend the injured despite his repeated requests, he approached the CMO with a complaint against them.
"While I was speaking to the CMO, the two doctors assaulted me and beat me up," he alleged.
He said he had brought the matter to the notice of police.
