Diwali - Eid Milan held

The reports about the celebration of Diwali Eid Milan continue to pour in.
A sinister function were organized y J&K, Anjuman Fargoh-e-e Urdu Jammu and students of govt. girls higher secondary school Poonch with full religious fervour and gaiety. Both the function were attended by large number of people and students Anjuman Fargoh-e-Urdu organized a social gathering as Diwali Eid-Milan at Danish Kadah on October 29, which was presided over by the chief patron of the Anjuman, Prof. Zahar-ud-Din Comrade Krishan Dev Sethi was the chief guest. President of the Anjuman, Amin Banihali, G.A Tak, Prof. Verinder Gupta, P.N. Sus besides other personalities of the city and representative of various literary organizations obliged the Anjuman by their gracious presence. The secretary of the Anjuman asserted the importance of such meetings which can go a long way in inculcating the sense of oneness among various communities.
K.D Sethi a veteran politician and human activist felt elated to have been the part of the function. He said that Urdu is the language that made Hindustan a real Hindustan y having given so many blood warming slogans which ultimately got India the much wanted independence. He praised holding of such like meeting by a literary organization.
A colourfull programme was organized by the students of Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School Poonch in connection with Eid& Diwali celebrations. The programme over by chief education officer, Poonch, S.S Dutta.
Speaking on this auspicious occasions CEO said that may this Eid Diwali showers ever losting peace and prosperity for people of India. Principal of the school P.S Sudan also throw light on the importance of Eid and Diwali. He further said that on the occasion of Eid and Diwali, we should help the poor, needy and other weaker sections and include them in our joys and happiness.
Master Naseem Akhtar, Janaki Rani and students Smeena Qureshi and Gurdeep Kour also highlighted about the celebrations of Diwali and Eid festivals. Sweets were distributed amongst all students. J.S Aswal programme officer NSS presented vote of thanks.
