| R.M. College of Education celebrates annual day function | | |

Jammu, Oct 21: R. M. College of Education, Sainik Colony, Jammu celebrated annual day function and released the 3rd edition of college magazine “Dev Disha” , today, in the college auditorium.
Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation Raman Bhalla was the chief guest while Dr Rajive Gupta, Director, CDC presided over the function. Dr Jitender Khajuria, Joint Director, CDC was the guest of honour, I. D. Soni, Commissioner, Bharat Scouts and Guides, Prof. J. L. Kotwal, Director, KNIT, Chairmen, Principals and faculty members from various schools and colleges were the special guests.
The programme started with the lighting of traditional lamp. Guests were formally welcomed by Chairman of the College, Rameshwar Mengi followed by ‘Saraswati Vandana’.
Principal of the College, P. K. Dhar read out the annual report.
Various cultural items, including group dance, solo dance and solo song were also performed. Certificates and awards were presented to the meritorious students by the chief guest.
Addressing the gathering, Dr Rajive Gupta appreciated the practices followed by the college for the healthy educational growth of students.
Later, vote of thanks was presented by trustee of the college Rita Mengi. The programme was compared by R. S. Moza.
