Bhim hits out at Chidambaram, asks him to spell out Kashmir ‘dispute’ | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Oct 21: Prof Bhim Singh, Chairman JKNPP and Member of National Integration Council today challenged Union Home Minister Chidambaram to spell out Kashmir ‘dispute’ the terminology which Geelani picked up from Pak leaders and which was later adopted by Omar Abdullah. Singh asked Chidambaram to tell the countrymen what he meant by instructing the team of interlocutors recently that they should seek consultation with J&K parties on the political dispute of J&K. Prof. Bhim Singh reminded the Union Home Minister who is an efficient lawyer that ‘dispute’ is always between two and more parties. Union Home minister should spell out the dispute and the parties to the dispute. The Panthers Party Chief described it unfortunate that a Union Home Minister has entered a prohibited area and taken up the cause of so-called Kashmir dispute with a soul purpose to bailout the Chief Minister from a serious offence who dared declare J&K not integral part of India sending a shock wave through out the country. ``Had Nehru been alive, Omar would have been sent to Kot-balwal Central Jail, ‘’ he added. Prof Bhim Singh braved Sonia Gandhi for rebutting J&K Chief Minister when she declared publicly that J&K is integral part of India. Prof Bhim Singh appealed the students, youth, trade unions to launch Omar Abdullah go go… movement in the same spirit as National Conference had launched ‘Kashmir quit Movement’ against the Dogras in 1946. Prof Singh urged Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh to handle J&K affairs within PMO and keep out other ministers who have yet to learn a ABC of J&K.
