| Drug licensing authority suspends 2 firms | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 21: With an objective to ensure strict compliance to the provisions of Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940, the drug sale licenses of Sanjeevni Medicos, Reasi and Sai Medicos, Reasi have been suspended for a period of 10 and 7 days respectively by the Licensing Authority, Udhampur/Reasi/Ramban. The said firms were found indulging in various violations under the said Act.
The Department contemplates strict action against the persons indulging in sale of habit forming drugs and injection Oxytocin in violation to prescribed norms. The dealers in general are impressed upon not to resort to unfair practices.
