| Army inaugurates youth employment node | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 21: In a path breaking initiative in the Mahore tehsil of District Reasi, Army on Wednesday inaugurated a youth employment and guidance node.
Prime objective of the node is to facilitate socio economic and educational upliftment of the youth of this region and provide them with employment and guidance for self employment so that they can become economically independent and self reliant members of the society. Main node has been opened in Mahore with sub-Nodes in Gulabgarh, Dharmari and Gul. .
This project undertaken by Counter Insurgency Force (Uniform) will play an important role in integrating the youth in nation building in this region, where terrorism has led to disintegration of social and economic fabric resulting in lack of employment opportunities. With near normalcy restored, it is time to provide youth viable remunerative opportunities to redeem their economic plight.
