| NSF constitutes fresh body | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 22: National Secular Forum (NSF) today appointed Rohit Sharma as president of its wing in Jammu University.
In a handout issued here today, it has been stated that the appointments were made by state president of the forum Vikas Sharma. Ravi Choudhary has been nominated Chairman while Rahul Sharma has been made working president along with Mohammed Maqeem Ansari as Convenor.
Gurpreet Singh, Joginder Thakur, Sanjeev Sharma and Sonu Kumar have been appointed as Vice-Presidents. Sahil Sharma was appointed General Secretary, Narinder Singh organizing secretary, Abhimanyu Gupta, Manjit Singh, Jatinder Kour and Arvind Kumar as secretaries, Raj Kumar as Cashier. Manu Sharma was appointed as Press Secretary and Shashi Kant, Subash Chander, Khushwant Singh, Amit Sharma, Pardeep, Ankit, Bushan Sharma and others were elected members.
Addressing the meeting, Vikas Sharma hoped that they will work unitedly for the organization. Vikas Sharma further said that Jammu and Ladakh has been ignored by the UPA government since it came to power. NSF Member demanded local V.C for the central university of Jammu. They threatened that if the HRD ministry fails in appointing a local vice-chancellor for the Centre University of Jammu, they would launch state wide agitation.
