| Sadhu’s body recovered, two sustain injuries due to shooting stones on NHW | | | JAMMU OCT-30 –
An unidentified body of a Sadhu was recovered from Vijaypur, a lady was brought to GMC in unconscious condition, while two persons were injured due to shooting of stones and land slides on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway today.
A Police spokesman said that a body of a Sadhu aged about 65-70 years was recovered from Guraha Morh Vijaypur and shifted to hospital for post mortem, while an unidentified lady from Canal road was brought to GMC Hospital in unconscious condition.
The Police have initiated inquest proceedings under section 174 Cr. PC.
The spokesman said two Bakerwals were injured while their two horses died on spot due to shooting stones and land slides on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway at Marogue near Ramban. Both the injured have been hospitalized in Emergency Hospital Ramban.
