| PNB opens its new branch in city | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 22: Continuing its proactive role in the economic development of the state, Punjab National Bank with its initiative to reach out to the vast section opened its new premises in the heart of Jammu city at Kacchi Chawni.
The premise was inaugurated by Ashok Gupta, Deputy General Manager, Circle Head Jammu.
Speaking on the occasion, Gupta said that the new branch is centrally located in the heart of old city with Educational institutions, business/commercial establishments & government offices around, not only the customers of the new branch will be provided unmatched techno-driven services like ATM cum Debit Card, Anytime Anywhere Banking & Net Banking facility but will be provided with credit facilities as per their requirements. For that Bank is making available "Multi Delivery Channels" for better reach and convenience. He further informed that the bank has adopted aggressive and innovative strategies to make Bank's products customer-centric & for that the bank has tailored its' various retail lending schemes to suit requirements of all types of customers at attractive interest rates under "PNB Festival Bonanza Offer 2010".
Gupta said that under Financial Inclusion, through technology driven innovative approach, the Bank has enabled to offer cost-effective banking products at the door step of the customer especially from the poorest of the poor & weaker section of the society. For this bank has opened No Frill accounts & distributed Smart Cards.
A large number of customers, bank officials were present at the function.
