JAMMU, Oct 22: President, Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee and former Union Minister Prof Saifuddin Soz has congratulated the people of Ladakh region for giving a massive mandate to Congress in Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Leh polls
In a statement issued to the press today, Soz said “I congratulate people of Leh District of the Ladakh region for the landside victory that they have given to the Congress Party in the elections to the LAHDC, Leh. It is by itself a tribute to the genius of Ladakhis whose secular credentials stand established, once again.
On this occasion, I particularly congratulate Rigzin Jora, Minister for Tourism and Culture, J&K Government, P. Namgyal, Senior Vice President JKPCC, Rigzin Spalbar, District President JKPCC, Leh and other leaders of Leh region for their dedication to the cause of the Congress Party. It was my privilege to offer my greetings to these leaders on the telephone”.
