| Criminal held at Gadigarh | | | JAMMU: An alleged murder accused was today arrested by police from Gadigarh area near here. He was identified as Trilok Singh alias Laddi, son of Narayan Singh of Lower Gadigarh.
Acting on a specific information, a Satwari police team laid a trap at Gadigarh and caught hold of him, police sources said.
A sharp-edged weapon was also recovered from him, SP (south) Rajeshwar Singh said.
He said Laddi and his six associates had alleged committed the murder of Harpreet Singh, son of Gagan Singh of Upper Gadigarh, with sharp-edged weapons last year in Gadigarh area.
A case under section 302 of RPC and 3/25 of Arms Act was registered against the accused at Satwari police station.His six associates -- Sunny, Baba, Danchi, Ravinder Singh, Manpreet
Singh and Gurdeep Singh -- had already been arrested. |
