| Govt urged to assess loss of crops in hailstorm | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu,Oct 23 : Provincial president, National Conference, Rattan Lal Gupta in a statement here has urged the state government to conduct special survey to assess the loss of crop due to recent hail storm in Jammu region so that the farmers whose standing crops have been damaged are compensated. Gupta visited the area in RS Pura sector and interacted with the farmers whose crops have been damaged due to hail storm and assured them that he will take up the matter with the concerned authorities in the state government. |
