| State all set for panchayat polls: Naaz | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
POONCH, Oct 23: Vice Chairman, Gujjar and Bakerwal Advisory Board, Bashir Ahmed Naaz has said that the government is all set to hold panchayat and local bodies election during ensuing December this year.
For this purpose, election machinery has been set in motion. In the first stage District Election Officers (DDC's) have been asked to update voter lists by November 30.
Naaz was addressing congress delegates of Poonch district here today.
On this occasion, he called for displaying of that voter lists at every panchayat for public observation and filing of objections. He instructed District Election Officer to ensure exhibition of voter lists within two -days at each panchayat circle. |
