| Bandh in Katra against shifting of Bus Stand | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATRA, Oct 23: A complete bandh was observed here today in protest against the shifting of Bus Stand from the heart of the town to its periphery.
The bandh, however, did not cause any problem to the Vaishnodevi pilgrims as hotels and lodges, besides bhaint shops, remained open for them.
The call of bandh was given by hotliers and other businessmen in the town. A peaceful rally was also taken out, which was led by NC leader Sher singh and Congress leader Kaku Ram.The businessmen said they would oppose tooth and nail the shifting of the bus stand to the town's periphery near Asia Hotel.
