| Drug peddler with bukhi arrested | | |

Police today arrested a drug peddler at Batote and recovered 15 kg of Bukhi from his possession.
According to reports, Batote Police party led by SHO Sat Paul Modi during patrolling on National Highway spotted a person in suspicious circumstances, when challenged he threw his bag in the nallah. The police immediately caught hold him and recovered the bag containing 15 kg of bukhi.
He has been identified as Mohinder Singh son of Piyara Singh of Sanasar Ramban and a case registered against him under NDPS Act and investigation started.
