| Reasi awaits Ghumayee's performance | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 23: Hero's welcome awaits for Natrang and it's director Balwant Thakur at Reasi as the group is going to perform internationally acclaimed Dogri play 'Ghumayee' on Sunday 24th of October at 6.30 pm at the Higher Secondary lawns for the audience. To enliven this historic occasion, two cabinet ministers of the state Government Raman Bhalla and R.S. Chib will grace the occasion as honored guests in addition to the local MLA Baldev Raj. This is going to be the first occasion when this globally popular play is being staged in the open-air for a larger audience. Earlier to this the play has been staged only in theatres with the help of high-tech lighting and sound equipments.
Mr. Pandurang Pole, District Development Commissioner, Reasi who is hosting this mega performance has made elaborate arrangements of showcasing the true essence of its international standards. Termed as the theatrical wonder of world class this play has already been staged in Russia, Germany, Hungary, and Poland and recently in the Commonwealth Games, New Delhi.
People of Reasi will be the first lucky audience outside Jammu to have the privilege to witness this world class production. |
