JKNPP extends support to Nov 6 bandh call

JKNPP has extended full support to Refugees United Front (RUF) in the solution of their long pending and genuine problems. The front is demand that the aggrieved Refugees from POK (1947) uprooted families of 1965, 1971, and the latest Dogra Migrants from upper ridges of Poonch, Rajouri, Doda, Udhampur should be properly rehabilitated with all basic amenities.
In a joint statement today JKNPP vice-president PK Ganju, Anita Thakur and Daljit Singh General Secretaries have urged upon the central and state governments to attend to the basic issues of Refugees belonging to Jammu province. They said that the displaced families numbering 7 lakh are scattered here and there.
Special Assembly constituencies should be created for all refugees to have their own elected representatives in the assembly and parliament the statement demand and extended its full support to Jammu bandh call on 6 November 2006.
