| Core Group reviews security situation | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 23: The Core Group today deliberated on the prevailing security environment in J&K, while taking a holistic review of the joint strategy evolved to restore normalcy in the state.
Held at 15 corps headquarters, the meeting was chaired by security advisor, Lt Gen N C Marwah, according to army sources.
In the meeting, discussion focused on refining strategy formulated in the last meeting in the light of the ground situation and take the level of synergy between all agencies to the next level to thwart attempts by inimical forces to destabilise the Valley.
Among others, the meeting was attended by DGP Kuldeep Khoda, senior officers of army, CRPF, BSF and civil administration. |
