| Rao demands ex-gratia to SPOs families killed by militants | | | JAMMU | OCT 30 General Secretary J&K Milchar Front Kuldeep Kumar Rao has appealed chief minister Ghulam Nabi Azad to grant an ex-gratia of Rs. 5 lakh to each and also provide government hob to the next of kins of Jerman Singh S/o Lakhshmi Ram, R/o Joura and Ishwar Lal R/o village Darayi, (SPOs) who were killed by the militants on duty at Chanyas police post in Doda district on Sept. He said till date no compensation has been given to the victim’s families. SPO Jerman Singh left two sons of age 6 years and 4 years and one month old daughter and his father is an old man and also heart patient and there is no source of income to earn bread and butter for the deceased family. So it is urged upon the chief minister, to kindly use his good office and appoints his wife as IV class in High Scholl Halaran on humanitarian grounds keeping in view of her deplorable domestic condition so that she can be in a position to provide food and education to her children and also issue directions to the concerned authorities to grant ex-gratia tot eh victims family as soon as possible with out causing further delay.
