Pok citizens committee organises public meet | Kashmir Accession Day | | AGENCIES New Delhi, Oct 24: On the occasion of Kashmir Vilay Diwas (Kashmir Accession Day) the Pakistan Occupied Kashmir citizen committee organized a public meeting in south Delhi. Speaking from the dice ex chief justice of Uttaranchal born in POK said that it is very unfortunate to say that our politicians are misinterpreting the law of the land. Nobody should have any confusion about the accession of the state into the union of India as Sec 3 of the constitution of Jammu & Kashmir clearly says that "J&K is integral part of India and its accession is final & irrevocable". Even though the political accession was there but the emotional accession is missing in the minds of Kashmiris because of the politicians play in the valley, he said. Addressing the gathering in Saraswati Bal Mandir School ex Governor of Sikkim & Goa and the person who has been associated with the J&K since Indian Independence Kedar Nath Sahani criticized the Kashmir talk initiators for their statement saying involvement of Pak to solve the Kashmir problem. Reacting sharply over the demand for autonomy or independence in the valley ex head of the department of Law-Jammu University K.L. Bhatiya said that why these voices raised from Kashmir only, not from Jammu or Laddakh region when these are also the part of the same state? When Maharaj Hari Singh has clearly signed the instrument of accession unconditionally then why separate constitution was created for the state? Thus to solve the whole problem the cause of the problem i.e. the separate constitution must be scraped, he added. Sudesh Ratan, president of Mirpur Biradari Association, Joginder Mahajan, president Kotali Biradari Association and Padam Chand Jain, RSS Sangh Chalak -Lajpat district also addressed the gathering. Many representatives of socio-religious organizations, public representatives and other prominent personalities of the area and large number of residents of PoK took part in the programe. All participants of the program pledged their support for the integration of the country. |
