| Mahajan Sabha elects presidents for Ward 53, 54 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 24: Central Mahajan Sabha in a meeting today elect the office bearers for Ward No 53 and 54. The meeting, which was presided over by Mulkh Raj Pargal, elected Aseem Gupta unanimously as president for Ward No 53. His name was proposed by Mulkh Raj Pargal while seconded by Raja Ram and Kundan Lal Gupta.
The members elected Ajay Kumar Gupta as president whose name was proposed by Shiv Partap Gupta while seconded by Yuvraj Raj Gupta and Prof Suresh Gupta.
Both the presidents of Ward no 53 and 54 were given the authority to nominate their teams and also the representatives (delegates) for election of Central Mahajan Sabha Jammu.
Vinod Gupta, nominated by Central Mahajan Sabha Jammu, was the centre observer for the conduct of the elections of both the wards.
The meeting was conducted by Vice President of Central Mahajan Sabha Chander Mohan. Ramesh Gupta, president Central Mahajan Sabha and Kundan Lal Gupta were also present on the occasion. A large number of people belonging to Mahajan community also participated in the proceedings. |
