Pensioners seek benefits of 6th pay commission

JAMMU, Oct 24: Taking note of alleged anti-Pensioners, anti-employees and anti-working class policies of the state government, Jammu Kashmir State Pensioners Association (JKSPA) has decided to organize another series of "Protest Rallies" in Jammu City.
Convener of the State Pensioners Association Mukund Lal Sharma condemned the state government for ignoring implementation of recommendations 6th pay commission recommendations vis-à-vis the demands of pensioners. They threatened that if the coalition government continues to be mum over the demands of said class, Pensioners Association would be left with no option but to frame a political outfit to take on the state government. Others who addressed the Rally included Madan Lal Abrol, Krishan Dutt Sharma, Krishan Kunlar Sharma, Prof. B.R. Bhardwaj, Suraj Singh, Romesh Gupta, Mohinder Singh, Harbans Singh, Pandit Shambu Nath Khajuria and Kapil Sharma.
