| 2 HM OGWs nabbed | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 25: Reasi Police achieved a big success when it apprehended two Over Ground Workers (OGWs) working for the terrorists of Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) outfit from Loweer Dubri area Tehsil Mahore under the jurisdiction of Police Station Mahore of district Reasi today .
The OGW’s have been identified as Shabir Ahmed son of Mohd Hanif of Lar Tehsil Mahore and Mohd Ashraf son of Gulam Mohd of Gulbgarh tehsil Mahore .
Reports revealed that these hardcore OGWs were giving logistic supports, providing eatable items and shelter to the terrorists of HM outfit and are close in touch with the terrorist operating in Mahore area.
After developing information regarding the presence of these OGWs in Mahore area, police swung into action, launched search operation in the area. During search they apprehended the two hardcore Over Ground Workers. They have been put on sustained interrogation to know their links with other terrorist’s outfits. Case to this effect stands registered at Police Station Mahore.
It is worth mentioning that both OGWs happen to close relatives of recently killed HM terrorist Mushtaq Ahmed code Arfan of Lar and one of them namely Shabir Ahmed has been putting up at Batmalloo Srinagar from where he used to deliver and other logistic support to terrorists operating in Mahore area. On killing of uncle namely Mushtaq code Arfan he met HM Commander Bashrat at Kulgam who motivated him to join active militancy.
On the direction of Basharat the said Shabir Ahmed had come to Mahore to meet other OGW identified as Mohd Ashraf before formally joining terrorists ranks but their design were unearthed by timely action of Police and Army.
