| GGM, Commerce College win in kabaddi | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, October 25: The GGM Science College and Government SPMR College of Commerce reached the second round winning their respective matches in the Inter-College men’s Kabaddi Tournament started today at University of Jammu grounds, here.
In the opening match of the day, Science College trounced Government Degree College Thanamandi by a big margin of 28 points. In another match of the day, Commerce College outplayed Government Degree College Poonch by 19 points.
Third match of the day could not be played resulting into Government Degree College Bishnah awarded walkover Government Degree College Ramnagar.
Earlier, the competitions were declared open by Rector, Bhaderwah Campus, Prof BPS Sehgal who was chief guest. He was accompanied by Director Sports and Physical Education, JU, Prof Dhian Singh Bhau.
Among others present were Dr Vinod Bakshi, Rakesh Puri, Brij Baloria, Romesh Sharma and Romesh Magotra.
