JAMMU, Oct 26: K. C. Public School excelled in CBSE Nvjrth Zone Swimming Championship, held at Mount Abu Public School, Sector - 5, Rohini, Delhi.
Around 61 schools from Punjab, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi and Jammu & Kashmir participated.
Six students of K. C. Public School won several medals. Rudraksh Gupta of class XI got five medals'in all the events. The participants were Rudraksh Gupta, Kinshuk Safaye, Arshiya Kalra, Sheena Ganjoo, Radhika Wahi and Asmita Sharma. They have also been selected by the Sports Deptt. For National level competition to be held at Bhartiya Vidhya Bhavan, Vidhya Ashram, Jaipur from October 29 to November 2. In a special assembly held in the school this morning, the school academic Director, Dr. R. D. Thakur, felicitated the winners and praised their excellent performance in this prestigious Championship.
