| Release of 6th pay commission sought | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 26: The J&K State Non-Gazetted Handicrafts employees association province held a meeting today under the chairmanship of Vijay Singh Sambyal, its provincial president.
Speaking on the occasion, Singh asked the state government to concede the genuine demands of the state employees as per the instructions of the J&K high court also. He demanded immediate release of 6th pay commission arrears in cash, release of DA to the state government employees with effect from 07 /2010, enhancement of retirement age upto 60 years as per the pattern of central government employees and removal pay anomalies of different pay grades. Employees warned that if government fail to mitigate the above demands, employees shall have no other alternative but to take agitational path very shortly.
