| JKSRTC management flayed | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Oct 26: All J&K SRTC Volunteer Retirement Employees Association today flayed the JKSRTC management for not clearing dues of the VRS employees. In a meeting held under the leadership of Dev Raj Bali, President, VRS Union and Mohd Yaseen, general secretary at Rail Head Complex here today, Bali said that J&K SRTC management has become a mute spectator towards the problems of the VRS employees who are struggling for the last two years to get their dues settled. Later, it was unanimously decided to give notice to the J&K SRTC management for clearing their dues before Diwali. Their other demands included Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) 95 slabs and pending arrears since 1999, 6th Pay Commission be implemented since 2006, CPF interest, 5th pay commission two instalments due since 1997 and supplementary salary bills.
He said if their demands are not acceded before the Diwali, they will demonstrate on November 8 in front of the J&K SRTC Managing Director office Railway Head complex, Jammu Among others S.Surinder Singh, Sh.D.N.Sharma, Ashan Elite, B.V.Sharma, Mohd Sharief, Prem Nath, G.S.Tohra were present in the said meeting.
