| Nine CRPF jawns hurt in road mishap | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Oct 26: At least nine Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were injured, one of them critically, when a vehicle they were travelling in skidded off the road and hit a hillock on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway today, official spokesman said.
''An official vehicle which was carrying CRPF jawans for deployment to Doda from Jammu skidded due to a break failure and smashed with a hillock this morning near Domail on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway,'' official spokesman told here.
He said nine jawans were injured, one of them seriously, as he received critical injury in his eye. The locals and police rushed to the spot and shifted them to the Government Medical College, Jammu while critically wounded jawan has been referred to PGI Chandigarh, he added.
