| GGHS Resham Ghar organizes thanksgiving function | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 26: A simple thanksgiving function was organised by the Principal of the Government Girls High School, Resham Ghar colony today where school children were distributed uniforms and gift items.
Director School Education Zahida Khan and Chief Education Officer (CEO) Natha Ram were among prominent guests present on the occasion.
School Principal Sarishta Sharma, who was awarded with the best teacher award this year by the President Pratibha Devi Singh Patil on Teachers day, in her welcome speech extended thanks to the school education department and Director School Education and CEO for lending their valuable support and cooperation to run the school administration smoothly and successfully implementing the schemes.
The uniforms distributed to 275 school children were sponsored by the school Principal from her own award money.
Sweets and stationary material was also distributed among the children by the school authorities.
Director School education Begum Zahida Khan in her brief address lauded the efforts made by the school Principal Sarishta Sharma and congratulated her team members for setting high standards of quality education.
