| SAY 4 SEWA celebrates Vilay Diwas | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 26: SAY 4 SEWA (Students and Youth for Social Empowerment & Welfare Activities) organised a function on the occasion of "Vilay Diwas" on October 26.
The association chief Dr Navneet Gupta addressed the members about the importance of Vilay Diwas.
He told about the accession of the state into the Union of India and the decision of Maharaja Hari Singh to sign the accession agreement on October 26 which was also confirmed by J&K state assembly on February 6, 1956.
The members condemn the feeling of separatism and anti-national ideologies in the state and raised together in one voice with the proud feeling of being Indians. Members including Dr Gaurav Mukhija, Dr Ankush Sadotra, Dr Ankur Gupta, Dr Minal Uppal, Dr Prashant Choudhary, Dr Pallavi and Dr Radhika participated in the function.
At last, the function was concluded with the National Anthem.
